Ladies do y'all enjoy wearing hats as much as I do? I recently discovered I have a new found love for hats and not just on bad hair days either. It's funny because I used to HATE wearing any type of hat when I was younger, I thought they made me look like a boy lol. Thank goodness I evolved from that because adding a hat to your outfit can really make the look pop, baseball caps, dad hats, or whatever you want to call them, included. I used to think these particular types of hats were only good with a casual look, but I've proven myself wrong. You can throw on one of these hats with just about anything (although with ball gowns or things of that nature are not recommended, at least from me they're not, but I have seen it done) and still look good.
Wide brim hats/fedoras are another type I think you can wear with just about anything. And when I say anything y'all, please don't take it too literal. I just mean there are a lot of looks you can put together with these types of hats to add a little something to your outfit. Now berets and cabbies (hat type in first picture above) in my opinion, you cannot wear with just anything. These hats to me add a certain look to the outfit and are not "all purpose" hats. They can be dressed up or down, you just have to be a little more cautious when doing so. You don't want people to look at your outfit and think, what was the purpose of the hat? You want them to look and think, ooh I like how she thought to add the hat to her look, I wouldn't have thought to do that.
I haven't styled myself with bucket hats much just yet, but I think it's also one you should have in your closet. Bucket hats give me more of a laid back, chill type of vibe, but can very much still add to your look. If you don't own any of the hats mentioned in this post, do yourself a favor and invest in some. They don't have to be expensive or designer (unless that's your style) just find a few that appeal to you and watch how they add that little umph to your look.

Sidenote: I promise to have more aesthetically pleasing pictures as this blog progresses lol. I do not be thinking about taking full body pictures for content when I'm dressed (I'm good with my usual selfies), but I am committing to changing that.
